Across the East Islip School District, second- and fifth-grade students moving up to a new school enjoyed fantastic field trips to the buildings they will attend come September.

Connetquot students enrolled in the Eastern Suffolk BOCES Extended Day Enrichment Program had two friendly visitors on May 16, two llamas named Stella and Mavrick.

East Islip High School senior Sophia Aurrecoechea has been awarded the prestigious Girl Scout Gold Award – the highest honor a Girl Scout can achieve – through a project that gives back to her roots in a deeply personal way.
